I got tired of jump starting my wifes 83 240 and wired in a relay that turns the headlights off with the key. I put one on my sons 81 240 at the same time. That was a couple of years ago now with no problems and no dead batteries since. I am wondering what the interest would be for a prewired relay that installs in 5 minutes and would cost around $30.
