Volvo transitional years that end in 5 for 100 Alex 200 1985

Good morning,
Seems to me Volvo liked years ending in 5 to make changes(especially to the 240).
1975 140 transforms into the 240.
1985 another transitional year(B-230f,LH 2.2 etc).
too bad the 240 didn't make it until 1995, who knows what would have happened.
Is there any thing that happened in 1935,'45,'55,'65 that could conclude my theory.
