Time for new tires help!

First off, thanks for all the great advice, now I know where I can go for help with my Volvo.

It's time for new tires. The high end Michelins on my 944T are giving me indigestion every time I think about 144 each plus mounting, balancing, etc...
Has anyone here had any experience with either Yokohama YK420 or Pirelli P3000
tires? I'm thinking of trying the Pirellis at 93 dollars each installed, and they are rated as good as the Michelins for traction and temp, but if anyone has used either of these tires, it would be helpful to know if they're good or crap. thanks, JJ
