Is it only an idle trouble? Does it run and drive fine other wise? If so I don't think its your AMM, I've had my original AMM for 234K plus miles and its still fine. Only some 82s had the AMM. Do you have the LH setup, with the wires going to the injectors? Mine has had this trouble off and on for years, cleaning the throttle body helps for awhile, also the idle motor cleaning helps too. Check for Vacuum leaks around the injectors, and the throttle body and the intake, check all lines for splitting. Also check your intake hose after the AMM. All sources for rough idle. Good Luck...
