544 value & repairs... 444-544

Greetings!

My name is Jaak and I've been looking around Vancouver Island / southern British Columbia for a solid 544.

I've found a 1960 544 with a 6V B16B (dual SU's) for sale for $2000 Cdn. The price seems a little high and I was wondering what a reasonable offer may be.

Here is some info on the car...
- it was painted approx 4 years ago - it's a daily driver paint job
- the chrome is fair to good (minor rust through in one spot on the front bumper)
- the headliner has pulled away from the rear window but is intact
- the car has wider Ford rims on it and comes with the original Volvo rims and caps
- the car comes with a spare B20 -> it has the intake and exhaust manifold, but no carbs.
- the driver side floor and rear floor was welded 10 years ago and is still solid.
- the passengers side floor and fire wall (behind the right side wheel well is rusted through in places and thin in others)
- the rocker panels are solid, but just behind the wheel well where the frame member and the rocker panel meet is starting to rust underneath and there are a few rust bubbles starting to form on the rocker panel
- the interior needs a rubber floor or carpet and door skins
- the body is straight and the body / fender joints are solid and rust free with good rubber btwn them
- the a-arms on the suspension are worn, but the kingpins are not worn

Anyway, I was just wondering...

a) what a reasonable offer would be OR should I keep looking for a more solid car (all I desire is a fun daily summer driver)

b) if any of you have had experience with replacing the floor panels... ie. how much time and money is involved... again, the repair doesn't not have to be concours quality, just solid.
