544 value & repairs... 444-544

Jaak;

Judging the value of a car without pix is about as effective as troubleshooting a car problem by way of the phone...but from your description, it didnt sound too bad for starters! The big factor is rust...if its excessive, added to the additional rust you WILL find, thats clearly bad, but if its (hopefully) on the low side for a car of this vintage (and this is a judgement call again), you would have a good starting point for a resto project or just a good driver...If you can weld yourself(and its not rocket science, but does take some ability and special equipment($)), that's a big advantage over paying to have it done(this, and the accompanying bodywork is typically a big resto expense)...good luck.
