Seat question 200 1981

Yesterday I scrubbed my carpet with woolite and water, then I shop-vacd the moisture out. Carpet is now fuzzy like new and smells better than my girlfriend's sweaters. Also cleaned all glass and rainXed windshield. I can see! Anyway, when taking the seats out I noticed that the driver's side had a front and rear height adjustment black levers with three settings each. Also found a plug coming out of the vent in the floor and another harness coming out of the seat. This was unplugged. Logic tells me that this is problably a seat heater, but I don't have a switch for such a thing that I have found. Are these thermostaticly controlled or what? Does anyone know what is going on?
