Stumble from engine at idle. 200 1986

Bricksters,
Update on my idle problems. Apologies for long post.
Cleaned IAC valve, cleaned throttle body, adjusted throttle stop, adjusted TPS, checked all hoses etc for vac leaks, re-cleaned flame trap, checked oxygen sensor, cleaned injectors replaced injector seals, new fuel pump relay and I inspected as many electrical connectors as possible. Car still idles at around 1000RPM (on car guage)and stumbles rythmically about 50-100RPM. Car will idle at 1500+ unless I dial the black idle knob all the way to the stops.
Performance of car when driving is great.
Stumbling? car will sit and idle fine (albeit high) but in a cycle, 2 seconds strong and even, 1 second stumbling (like it is misfiring)with RPM drop, engine shakes a lot. Other factors to consider include my slowly rotting wiring harness.
Could IAC be causing stumbling idle as well as high idle? Should I just get a new/second hand IAC and try it? Should I go to the trouble of replacing wiring harness? Could it be fuel pressure regulator? Anything else?
Thanks
Karl
