Oops i forgot LH4 does not have the base idle adjustment, sorry.
Turning the switch the additional amount is just insurance to make sure it always transfers when the throttle comes home. You are turning it against the home position of the throttle which was adjusted with the screw previously. I do not think you are turning it against its limits though. In other words if you were to open the throttle some it would turn further. Make any sense?
