Stumbling Idle Problems Update 200 1986

Bricksters,
I knew fiddling with everything would eventually yield results. Disconnected FI temp sensor lead (the one under intake runner 3) Idle is now steady as a rock. Does this sound right to everyone? I know the ECU will go to a default value of 68F (20C) when running if signal is out of spec (according to FAQ). 20C is about right here for ambient temperature. Sensor is on the block, should it not default to something higher?
Not compaining though.
Thanks
for previous help.
