Now I have a 945 900

A 92 model, to be exact.

I came across a "940" badge in the pile. Brand new, pre-taped, ready to go.

Sawed off the old "740" adhesive from the back of the badge with a piece of wire. Removed adhesive with gasoline, wiped area with prepsol to remove the wax and dirt, and put on the 940. Re-waxed around it, and you would NEVER know that anything else had been there.

Interestingly, the 940 badge is smaller than the 740. I never compared them side by side before.

The only way to tell it's a 740 (besides the VIN) is by the different shape of the seats, and I think that the 940 never had a manual sunroof; they were all power. (Correct me if I'm wrong). It has all the rest of the 940 toys.
