overdrive fill plug? 200 1986

I'm having trouble with the overdrive on my 86 DL wagon manual tranny, it will rarely engage the overdrive, and when it does, its only for a few seconds befor slipping out of it again. also the rpm's drop when i dont press on the pedal but when gas is given to the engine it acts as if it is still in 4th gear. i suspect a low fluid level in the o/d, and i want to check the fluid level in that first befor i start pulling the solenoids. my problem basicly is...

where do i find the fill plug for the overdrive???

i've got my car up in the air right now, and i cant figure out where to check the level for the o/d, hopefully i wont have to drop it out of the car to check the level. Thanks for any help in advance, and if anyone can recomend a degreaser that wont affect plastics, please let me know, my keyboard is covered in grease and oil at this point hehe.
