ABS/Non ABS Strut tower substitution 700

Finally got the woes of the 16 Valve lifters solved.

Now my niece was in an accident. It bent the strut unit. I got another from the same year model car, but the salvage car didn't have ABS. Is it possible to remove the bottom of the unit and replace it with the one with the ABS sensor? If so, how is this process done? My brother has a body shop and is an excellent body man, but not real good with mechanics.

If this is not possible, will it hurt too badly to run the car WITHOUT the ABS sensor installed?

I of course bought the strut tower in Texas and it's in another state now. I'm hoping for good news...
