Sunroof woes! 700 1990

I had the same thing happen to me on my 87 765T except that I didn't have to "help" the motor along, it just would not open totally.

I took off the trim panel (look at the FAQ on how to do this) and found that the piece that moved the sunroof panel was broken. I went to a junk yard and found a whole new track assembly and linkage for $25. Once I got the new track and linkage in, it worked like a charm. I got the track off of a 91 745.

It was a piece of cake took all of 30 minutes to do.
