Top 3 Engineering Blunders of All Time 200

10 hours and $108.00 to replace mine. Three weeks later, my daughter rear ends a SUV and totals it.

The '85 I bought to replace it: specificaly ran the fan multiple times, listening for that horrid sound. Two weeks later, blewly. Screeching fan.

Maybe only 6-8 hours this time........practice, practice, practice.

(Odd side note: out looking for a replacement drivers seat for the "new" car, spotted her last car in the wrecking yard. Convinced the wrecker I really did want to take a chance on a used fan motor (knowing it was "new"). Only cost me $35.00 this time.) (Hmmm $108 + $35 + 16 hours.....do we REALLY need that fan?)
