Turbo on a Non-Turbo 82 Diesel Wagon? 200

Mr. Ludwick,

I just replaced the air filter with another normal one, along with a fuel filter and fixed the exhaust coupling on the exhaust line under the front seat area (it was disconnected, and I was going deaf!) and got quite a good pick up in power, but still not as much as I would like. Can you tell me more about the free flow air filters? Do I replace the entire filter unit with another, or is it just the filter paper (or whatever you call it, just the filter itself)? What does the cost look like?

Also, am I alone when I say that the intake looks a bit small in diameter on the air filter unit? Maybe a bit of a scoop could add a couple PSI?

Thanks again!
Rotor
