Top 3 Engineering Blunders of All Time 200

Hey, Brian -- you really have my sympathies. The quirk in your situation is the 25-35 degree business. I *hate* bare fingers in cold weather working on the car...

I've done a couple of heater fan motors, but it's always been in the summer on my terms. I spend a leisurely weekend -- an hour of contortion, and 1/2 hour on the front steps drinking coffee and reading the paper. Another hour of labeling the wires, another 1/2 hour with the paper. Quit for lunch, take a nap, search for the fan shroud black clips, swear a little, have a cup of tea, watch some baseball on TV, go back to it. By Sunday afternoon, it's done, and I'm not in a pissy mood.

It's all in the season...
