transmission out for clutch, what to do with overdrive? 200 1980

I'll have the transmission off in an hour or so, for a new clutch. Car has under 200,000 km. Clutch (or maybe something in the OD?) was slipping. I'll see about the clutch. I suspect that the rear seal is leaking oil also which may be getting onto the clutch, so I'll change that seal also.

While I have it apart, what should I do as maintenance for the overdrive. Is symthetic type F available and desirable? Is it possible to get all of the old oil out? Any other maintenance?

Thanks!
