Trailing Arm Bushings bad?

Luke, Super slow over speed bumps would cause the clunk too, I never heard it on deceleration.

I would bet that it is not your differential. Not unless you've been driving without gear oil. That's a DANA 30... An over-kill for such a low torque car like a Volvo. At 167K the rear should still be very strong.

167K is about right for Bushings.
Unfortunately, the Trailing arms are the most likely to go and they are the toughest to replace because they are on the axle.

If you do go ahead an do these bushings, They DO have a top and bottom. The rubber is thicker on one side.
