Blower Motor Update (Was Top 3 Engineering Blunders) 200

Well, I got the new motor installed tonight. I then went to put on the passenger side fan and realized that when I removed the clip, it bent. Tonight when I tried to bend the clip back, it broke. Now, of course, when I spin the motor, the fan doesn't spin. I've got a machine shop and will have to make a new clip. However, if someone out there happens to have an extra one, I would be happy to pay for it since it would save me a lot of time.

I was so frustrated, I had to move to another project. I bought an old Vespa scooter last week. The mode of operation is thus: work on Volvo, get frustrated, work Vespa to forget about Volvo, get frustrated, work on Volvo to forget about Vespa, and so the horrid cycle continues!!!

Thanks for letting me rant and also for the good advice.

I'll keep ya posted,
Erich Elmer
