Hello Bricksters,


Basically, I have been trying to fix up my 1987 240 (118K) that I bought at the beginning of college for the last year or so. This message board has been instrumental in increasing my knowledge base as well as my skill set when it comes to maintaining Volvos. As such, I have noticed that I have both front-end and rear-end clunks which indicates that I have blown bushings. I was just wondering if there is anybody out there in the greater Los Angeles area that would be willing to replace my blown bushings for a reasonable price ( I don't have the funds or the space to invest in my own press). I have called local shops and they have all quoted me prices (e.g. $320 for the rear trailing arm bushings alone) that my budget cannot handle. If anybody is interested or has suggestions please respond.
