Elring cam seals as verses volvo 200

A while back I had a 240 with a slight groove wore in the cam. I installed 3 elring brand seals in a row and could not get a tight seal. Finally I measured the seal and the Elring was clearly larger diameter than the volvo. So I installed the volvo and had no more problems. I put a lot of these seals on and do not want to pay for volvo seals. Does any one know whether there is a good quality seal with the same dimensions as the stock seal.
