A/C Slider Switch 700 1990

What might have happened is that the control got stuck in the "Snowflake" position. That's a commonplace problem, and one that is not hard to fix if you can get the parts. Since the slider itself broke off, you might be searching for a new HVAC unit, but I'd look for a used one before submitting to a new one. I have not replaced a whole slider before, so I don't know if it's possible. I don't think that the parts are available separately, although perhaps someone can shed some light on that.
