244 wont start........ 200 1988

My 88 244 wont start..

Thursday night I cleaned the flame trap..

Friday night I did that airbox mod.. pulling the thermostat doodad out..

It ran for a little while..

Then it stalled about a mile from my house.

I dunno..

It will keep turning and turning when i try and crank it.. but it doesn't even sound like it wants to start..

I conjectured that I ran out of fuel because it had been about a week since my last fill up even though my guage said half a tank.. it normally only lasts a week. So I put some fuel in.. about a gallon.. and to no avail.. TADA it didnt do anything. So now it sits in front of a relatives house (i stalled right next to it.. how odd).. anyways.. I dont know what the problem is.. and being 17 with little car experience i wouldnt even be able to make a decent guess as to what is wrong with it.. oh well.
