I had found a broken circuit on the PC board on the IC............

Tried some poor man's solder on it (aluminum foil) & got function, but no accuracy.

Got to thinking that resistance might be the problem & took it out. Soldered a jumper in..... Poof, all works, all accurate & no batt. light.

Now to put some miles on it & see :)
