1990 740 Timing Belt 700

I have replaced timing belts before but it has been a-while. Using the Bentley repair manual it is un-clear to me where the timing mark should be for the crankshaft with the large pully off. I have the camshaft timing mark lined up with the new timing belt at the 11 o'clock postion and the mark on the plastic cover. I also have the intermediate shaft lined up with the mark on the belt at the 3 o'clock postion and the mark on the plastic cover.
Now, according to the Bentley book the double lines on the new timing belt should align with a mark on the crankshaft. Presently, the double marks are on the left side just above the crankshaft pully.

Also I didn't see a keyway pin on that crankshaft when I put the large pully back on. Is it missing? Thank you , Doug
