Parts for my 544 444-544

You know, I never heard that. As far as I've been able to tell most of the Brickboard folks use their classics as reliable daily drivers and are all for upgrades and anything to make a classic quicker, nimbler, and more reliable. I've been using my '64 PV as a daily driver for the last 3 years and am only now getting ready to take it off the road and really start working on it. I'm planning on putting a 5-speed (or 4 + OD)tranny, a tuned B20, and twin Weber DCOE 45s on it, as well as 142 seats, a 123GT tach and updated seat belts (and anything else I think of along the way). I've already upgraded the suspension quite a bit and converted to front discs, electronic ignition, and a GM alternator. Although the engine is tired it's been a reliable car since day one. There's a wealth of great info here from some extremely smart folks, and I encourage you to make full use of it. I know I have....
