Sounds like you are going the same way as I did ... I have the dual downpipe manifold ... but haven't installed it yet ... there were two downpipes available at one time .. the collector of one was 1 7/8" ... the other 2 1/8". I haven't been able to locate a 2 1/8" one yet .. so may end up having one built... I had a 2" system fabricated by a local MIDAS Shop .... and one oval very short muffler mounted at the rear with a very short turndown tailpipe. The car has a nice low volume rumble .. actually gets drowned out by the moan from the dual SU HS6s at full throttle... for one reason or other I haven't been outside the cafr to hear what it is like under full throttle accelleration, but I gather it sounds good from what other people tell me. BTW My engine is a B20. I can tell you that the 2" system REALLY woke the old girl up ... well worth the money.
