Store it or sell it 140-160

My vehicle situation expanded over the weekend and my wife told me the 164 should go. I am more inclined to put it in the back of the barn. This car is originally from Florida and is too "classy" to give to my 17 year old son! It's a 1975 in really good shape with 112k and until Saturday I was using it every day. My question is, any advice on storing this vehicle for a while, maybe up to a year or so? I've heard arguements for and against blocking it up. I am concerned about the d-jet system and of course all the usual stuff about hoses etc. Or should I assume that it will never be a classic and let it go to another volvo enthusiast who will keep it on the road?
Cheers
