Round Two

So far no luck. I ran a wire between fuses #5 and #7 w/ no change- I still get the loud fuel pump noise whenever I try to start it. I'm assuming that thsi means the problem is NOT the relay (Correct me if I'm wrong) I added some gas, and again got no change in symptoms.
After I check to make sure there is spark (I'm assuming the loud fuel pump noise indicates the problem is fuel delivery-related, but who knows) I'm thinking my next step is to figure out which pump is amking all the racket. After that, I either replace the prepump (It was getting a little noisy and I was planning on changing it anyhow, hopefully this time w/o knocking off the stupid sock and having to fish it out)or start looking for a main pump. Any other ideas

Thanks

Bob
