Intake Manifold 200 1977

Hi, I'm in the middle of a top end clean up, and was wondering how I can get the built up gunk out of the intake manifold? Acids? Dremil tool? At a shop? Im' a little hesitant to use acids, as I'm not sure if this metal can take it. Thanks,
