Commerical engine flush? 200 1983

(240 turbo)

I want to convert to syn oil. Volvo dealership offers a 'blistien flush' that's a reverse flow thur the oil filer port and is sucked out from the drain pan (engine off). Cost $125. They say it's safe for turbos. Anyone tried this?

Jiffy lube offers the same service for $90. But I would never let them touch my car after the oil sender incident (they broke it).

Any other alternatives. I think a spit and rinse is too risky for a turbo. And just converting to syn oil will loosen up too much gunk at once.
