Well if you are still getting the CTS code then that must be rectified before anything else.

How did you trace and verify the entire circuit? That lead passes through several tie point and junctions. Any one of them is suspect. Also suspect is the actual pin contact where it enters the ECU.

To rule this out, lets find the warm spec for resistance on that CTS, go buy that resistor at Radio Hack and temporarily install it in place of the CTS signal. Fixed?

I errr, "happen to have" the full and complete schematics for the 95 960 at home. I can get into this deepr about 10 hours from now if you need it.
