Fixing windshield chips?

Good news, somehow, someway, the inspector passed the 2 windshield chips! And he also passed the half broken tail light (brake lamp). But he did fail me on the odometer (spedo works), battery hold down, reverse bulb and a cut in a some wire.

Whew, that was a close one! Now I just got figure out this od. The PO rolled it back for some reason or replaced it with a used one for reason. It reads less than the title and old records.
