it just died, no spark from coil, possibly no fuel 200 1984

Car was running great and suddenly died while idling at an intersection. Just had it in for 180,000 mile service. The dealer left off one of the round nubs on the number 4 spark plug but I can't imagine that did it. After the service I put in a new CIS motor. neither of these seems like a logical cause of the current problem.

No spark at plugs or at coil, but coil tests "ok" by Chilton's Manual. I put in a new coil and nothing changed. Could this be an ignition switch problem? Are there relays that feed the coil or just straight voltage.

A co-worker of mine had me pull of the fuel line feeding the car and when it turned over there wasn't fuel coming through the line - but I'm not sure that this is an overly valid test.

The distributor has a lot of mileage and is showing pitting on the arc points, but I'm pretty sure that the coil should be sparking upstream of the spark charge.

Anybody have any suggestions about how to proceed with my diagnosis?? Any leads would be appreciated.
