Amazing coincedence 140-160

Okay so I in the market for my next volvo and I come across this beautifully maintained 72 164E automatic, the next day I discovered a 70 164 4 speed/overdrive right in my neighborhood that is being sold by the original owner, also in very good condition, both are asking around $3000 USD. Up until this week I had never even seen, much less been in one of these old beauties. My previous cars have all been 240's, the first of which I drove for 300,000 miles. Any thoughts on either of these two automobiles would be most welcome. Specific differences in models, standard verses automatic. All comments/advice is welcome.

Thanks in advance,
Michael
