Hey Crowley, your recommendation about getting rid of my aftermarket fuel pump and replacing it with the Bosch was right on. Shortly before I replaced unit my 740 was acting similar to yours. Would need a couple starts to idle. When I checked the archives the fuel pump check valve came up as the culprit. Not sure if this part is seperate from the pump or is a part of it. Could this be your problem? Any other symptons?
