EGR temp sensor 900 1994

I have had various problems but now I get a code 4-1-3 and have delt with 2 dealers and one independent Volvo mechanic.I've replaced the EGR valve twice (long story) now I need to figure out where the problem is. Car runs very well. I can clear the fault code but it returns after a few miles (or a period of time?) Where is the EGR temp sensor and can I check it and the wiring? Thanks in advance Tom
