Help with cable Odometer 200 1983

The speedometer works but not the od.

I opened it up, and it works maunally. Nothing wrong with the gears. I'm thinking there is something wrong with my cable.

First the cable has square tip, that's how it's suppose to be right? Second, is there something in the 'bearing' (where the cable connects to the meter) that drives the OD guage seperately? Don't understand why it does not work.

Got to get it inspected by soon.
