Changed AMM; But very hard starting??? Getting to Wits end.... 200

Hello,

While hunting down my problem, I recently replaced the following:
Plugs, Rotor, Cap...
In Tank and External Fuel Pumps + Filters.. Fuel pressure is good at ~35psi
Main Relay and Fuse

AMM was suspected and identified as bad when car would not start until it was unplugged. Bought rebuilt replacement... installed and checked dwell as follows:

Connected dwell meter to coil and battery per dwell meter's instructions, Dwell read 40 degrees. Bently book says adjustment on AMM can be turned until dwell is between 20 and 70 degrees, so I didn't touch it.

Car initially was somewhat hard to start (i.e. it took almost 30 seconds of cranking to catch, fuel pressure was up to snuff). Drove it on freeway and around town and it was fine. Stopped for gas, put in fuel injector cleaner at fillup and it was very difficult to start (took almost 1 minute to catch). While the injector cleaner is suspect, the initial installation of the AMM and initial hard starting tell me something else is amiss. Any suggestions??
