Replacing sunroof bracket 700

Hello, we have a '90 744ti. The passenger side sunroof bracket that rides in the body-mounted track is broken; I got a replacement from Pick-n-Pull, but had
a heckuva time getting the headliner out of the way. I got as far as pulling the sunroof headliner toward the back of the car to release it, but then couldn't figure out how to get the rest of it to move out of the way... I wound up just giving it a HEAVE.

I don't want to resort to that on my wife's car:-) Can anyone explain how to get the sunroof headliner out of the way far enough to replace that bracket?

Thanks!
Kyle
