Bugs be gone ... now running better 200 1989

Hi all,
I did like all you suggested and took some compressed air to my radiator. I drove it last night up to my work to blow out the crap, while driving there with the heater blasting the car was going up to about 9:30 or 10:00. I wasn't sure if I was going to make it. Blew bugs, let it cool, drove it with the heater on and it was still running around 9:30 for about two miles then I watched the temp gauge get lower and lower. When I got close to home I ran the a/c, no change in temp. I let it idle with the a/c on high for about ten minutes and no overheating. But now I'm back to where I started ... below normal temp reading, about 7:30. Guess I have to check my temp. comp. board now or could it be the AMM? Any ideas? I forgot to add it was about 40 degrees last night so I don't know how it's going to act in 90+ heat. Should the ideling with a/c on like I stated be a good indicator that it's fixed or will only time tell?
