Selling high mileage bricks

I can speak from the viewpoint of the buyer.

I could care less what the odometer says. They usually break anyhow. What I want to see are the maintenance records.

And if you take some time to create a summary of recent work (backed with a stack of receipts) you have a very good selling tool.

If, for example, you show me that you've done a ton of suspension work, that's one thing I know I won't have to worry about.

To me, a 250k car with good maintenance/repair history is worth a LOT more than a 150k car with no record.
