help!! im leaking gas 700 1986

i went out to my car today and i saw that it was leaking gas from underneath so i crawled under and saw the pipe that its leaking from and its about 5-6 inches long and has a circular white plastic piece and it looks like its clamped on both ends. im not sure what line it is but its definately a gas line. i just wanna know what im getting myself into here and if theres any thing i can do or some kind of way around paying big bucks to fix this... i dont want to blow up!!
