1989 740 turbo not starting 700 1989

I need help. Car will not start.. replaced in tank pump...not the solution
Openned fuel line started car sprayed gas allover but I have not no
gauge as to pressure. I get test light to light @ coil. Replaced coil with know working one still no starting...all fuses under ash tray are ok switch relays around still no start.Just before car died It would not run below 1000 rpm's
I would have to wait a couple minutes to get car to start again. This I thought
was a idle motor,or whatever you call the little thing with under the intake manifold with the electrical plug and 2 tubes one to manifold other to metal tube connected to throttle body. Anybody have anything to help me
