Steering wheel removal 68 122 120-130

Ok, whats going on here? I've removed and replaced several Volvo steering wheels, but this one has me stumped. I removed the horn push thing, removed the nut and expected to just slide it off with a few bumps from behind. No go. It's sitting with Liquid wrench on it for now. There are threaded holes that look like they're meant to be used for "push scews." I put a couple of 5/16x18 screws in to try, but don't want to turn them too hard until I know for sure.

Any thoughts?

Steve
