Idle problem still... after ECU/IAC/TPS swap 200 1989

Well, unfortunately, my idle problem is still there, even after swapping out my 561 ECU with a 951 unit. I'm stumped.

Problem: Coming off of the freeway and putting my automatic 240 into Park or Neutral results in my idle to jump from normal (850 or so) to about 1200-1300rpm. Turn it off, wait 30 seconds and turn it back on, it's fine.

What's been done (in this order):

1. Swapped out IAC with another unit I got from a salvage yard.
2. My mechanic swapped out the TPS with another used (working) unit. He also cleaned out the throttle body & adjusted it.
3. Checked for vacuum leaks (same time as #2)
4. Today, I swapped out my rebuilt 561 ECU with a 951 unit.

Gas mileage and everything else is normal. Daily driving is normal.

Any thoughts?? This minor problem has turned into a personal challenge now.

Thanks,
Eric Staufer
