bigger tires for the brick? 200 1996

My first post....
I have a set of 205/85 r14 from my toyota truck. I am sending the truck to Haiti for a new life. But first I want to see if I can put the newer larger tires on my volvo wagon. it is a 86 wagon 240 . Will the tires fit/
will they need the springs to be shimmed to fit/
do they rub the body on bumps?
what is the largest tire I can put on my volvo wagon.?
I hate to let the new tires from the truck go. they are very low mileage.
I hope they fit.
Brickboarders have offered so much help so far.....please help me sort out where the rubber meets the road...
