Trim under the windows, whats best for restoration? 200

After 200K miles on my 1986 Volvo 240DL, I decided to get the beast painted at Maaco. I paid to have the shop do all of the paint work and take out some of the dings on the body however, I told them to just mask all of the trim since I could take care of that stuff myself. However, what should I use for the black trim under all of the windows? The trim look like a black sticker that is just fit to cut and then is applied right under the window. Could I use forever black on this or would a black electrical tape like material work? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

John
