Odometer stopped working suddenly, Whats Up! and Thanks Don Foster 700

As the odometer was in the process of turning over 134,000 miles it stopped working at 139,999 and 9/10 miles. The trip odometer stopped working as well. The speedometer still works fine. Any ideas on what caused this or what to look for when I remove the guage cluster this evening.

The only thing I have done to the car recently is resolder the O\D relay to fix an intermittent O\D problem. For those who have not tried to resolder a relay, it is just as easy to do as Mr. Foster has been saying for the last several years. I reflowed all the connections on the circuit board and added a very small amount of solder in a couple of places. No prolems with overflow solder creating a bridge. The fix to my O\D was immediate and welcomed. The only cost to me was a few micro-cents of electricity and solder. Then the odometer breaks. @#%&@#!

Thanks Mr. Foster.
